Debbie Lonnee, Bailey Nurseries will give an update on the Best New Woody Plants, Perennials and Annuals for 2012: A Smorgasbord of Fun New Plants! Peter Moe from the MN Landscape Arboretum will give the Basics of Growing Tree Fruits and also Tree and Shrub Pruning. Thomas Halbach, U of M, Dept. of Soil, Water & Climate will present Soils, Fertilizers and Composts: What You Should Know and What Might Surprise You! Amateur photo contest with prizes in 4 categories open to attendees. Door prizes. Continuing learning hours for MGs. REGISTRATION AND PHOTO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 24.
